In 1815, Ardbeg’s founder established our Distillery on the rugged, wild coastal rocks of South Islay. Over 200 years later, we’re still using our unique peat-laden wild water source and wisdom handed down through generations to craft the Ultimate Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Our flagship expression, matured for ten years in 1st Fill and 2nd Fill ex-bourbon American Oak casks to create a smoky balance of sweet vanilla and bold spice.
Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does FALSEt flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.
